YouTube faces a huge hack, Elon Musk is taking over Twitter and Mr Beast is everywhere!
Mr Beast
You may have heard of Mr Beast, the 23 year old creator who has become one of the biggest YouTuber on the platform. Well, if you haven’t, you might start to recognise his face, as he is coming to the UK in a big way! The YouTuber already has over 1000 branches of restaurants called MrBeast Burger, and now he is expanding into the UK. And there are going to be a ton of locations coming, with 2 just a few minutes down the road from me! With this being said, are creators becoming the new entrepreneurs of this day and age?
Twitter
It hit the headlines this week that Elon Musk has bought a huge share in Twitter, meaning he now owns 9% of the social media giant. We recently reported how he took to Twitter to ask users for advice, with one topic being brought up once again. The mogul suggested that he is pushing the edit button forward, a feature that users have pleaded for years for. But Twitter has actually fought back, suggesting that they have been working on the feature for over a year and it isn’t down to Musk creating a poll on the app.
YouTube
And it seems YouTube has come into trouble, as this week the social media company was hacked, with famous channels in particular being targeted. Celebrities such as Eminem, Drake, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson had their YouTube accounts hacked, with multiple profiles noticing strange videos uploaded. While the videos have since been removed, it calls into question how easy it can be for high profile accounts to be hacked into. As long as nobody touches Fraggell Productions!
